Economics
How value is created, what we measure, and how fees are framed.
The metric we care about: vTVL
Traditional DeFi often uses TVL. Aqua0 focuses on vTVL (virtual TVL) as a better proxy for capital productivity:
- TVL: capital deposited (often idle)
- vTVL: capital allocated and available across strategies/chains through virtual accounting
Fees (high-level)
Aqua0’s fee model is designed to be:
- aligned with LP performance (we only win if volume and execution happen)
- competitive versus the market range
- simple to understand for integrators and users
We publish user-facing fees and disclosures, but we avoid publishing any details that would expose operational security assumptions.
