- Show expected output, fees, and timing expectations
- Clearly communicate source chain and destination chain
- Provide status tracking with user-friendly states (preparing → executing → finalizing → done)
Data you should display
- price impact (when applicable)
- user-facing fees
- estimated time range (not exact)
Safety considerations
- do not assume a swap is final until status says finalized
- handle chain reorgs and transient errors (retry with backoff)
- present warnings for extreme price impact / slippage settings
